Network Rail

Network Rail own and manage some of Britain’s biggest and busiest railway stations. With millions of people passing through stations each year. For Bristol Temple Meads train station they were looking for a solution to make it easier for passengers to stay hydrated without relying on single-use plastic.
Our Max UV bottle filling station was the perfect choice for the station, thanks to UV technology and convenient contactless dispensing.
By installing our bottle filling stations an estimated 150,000+ plastic bottles have been saved from waste. This has reduced Network Rail and Bristol Temple Meads environmental footprint along with helping them to meet their ESG and sustainability goals whilst also meeting the needs of the passenger in providing filtered, clean drinking water.
This is a great example of a 360 partnership between Culligan, Network Rail and City to Sea as thousands of refills have been recorded through City to Sea’s Refill app and has helped passengers avoid single-use plastic.
