Feeders
Culligan
automatic feeders are electronic and offer high injection
precision combined with extremely reliable operation. Fitted
with electromagnets, they allow the feeding rate to be adjusted
by varying the frequency.
The range includes constant feed rate
models, in which the feeder flow rate remains constant after
the initial setting, and self-adjusting models, in which,
after the initial setting, the feeding rate is controlled
on the basis of variations in flow rate or other pre-set
parameters (pH, residual Chlorine, etc.).
Easy Feeder
Constant Feed Rate Feeder
Of simple construction and compact in
size, it provides an economical solution to the most common
requirement. The body is in corrosion-resistant plastic.
It is supplied complete with bracket for vertical mounting.
Available in just one model, for low flow rates.
Basic, Prop and Logic Feeder

Basic, Prop and
Logic series models feature:
- three different maximum feed rate
capabilities for each series
- tough, reliable construction
- aluminium body, with triple anti-corrosion
treatment
- parts in contact with the liquids
for injection in Polypropylene,Viton and Teflon
- electronic circuit which cuts out
the pump in case of minimum level signal
- supplied for horizontal installation,
but vertical installation is possible with just a few
simple operations
- selector switch for optimising feeding
even at minimum flow rates.
These three series have the following
special features:
Basic Feeder - Constant feed rate
feeder
Works on the basis of a simple on-off command received from
the system (electric float-switch, pump, instrument, etc.).

Prop Feeder - Self-adjusting feeder
The feed rate is automatically adjusted on the basis of
pulses received from external meters (available as accessories).
Operation with on-off control is available on request.
Logic Feeder - Self-adjusting feeder
The feed rate is controlled by a 4/20 mA DC signal received
from instruments of various type. Complete with display,
keyboard and microprocessor for setting and functional checks.
Operation with on-off control is possible.

Instruments

The water used in industrial processes
requires accurate, prompt control of the fundamental values
which define its quality. The main parameters concerned
are temperature, pH, conductivity, oxidation-reduction potential
(Redox) and residual Chlorine.
For each of these needs, Culligan offers

Electronic
Timers
Depending on requirements, equipment
is controlled and operated by one of a range of timers:
- PLF (Programmable Logic Function)
Electronic Timer 2K Model: for individual equipment.
- PLM (Multitask) Electronic
Timer 2K Model: for equipment and systems requiring
control of a number of functions.
- PLC - HQW (High Quality Water)
Electronic Timer: for systems for the production
of water for haemodialysis, and in general where very
high water quality is required.
The timers of all Culligan plants in
the range (i.e. all except household systems) are supplied
at 24 V - 50 Hz. An optional transformer is available.
